Hana Sushi in Gloucester

Ordered a Salad with extra Cucumbers, all I got was 2 slices Usually you get at least 4 slices.Written on my container was ex Cucumbers,I guess someone can"t read or can"t comprehend. The salad was disappointimg for that reason.

I love this place! Amazing sushi and hibachi (Japanese BBQ) to suit every taste and preference. All the fish are extremely fresh, including the scallops they use in hibachi. Their menu is diverse enough to return without eating something that tastes like the same meal. Excellent choice for date night/ general nice meals out. 10/10 will come back again soon.

This place is really good. The atmosphere is kind of strange but it is absolutely delicious and very fairly priced! Always leave happy and satisfied with everything

Only ate from here once, and it was takeout sushi, but it was fantastic. Great service; the host was very polite, kind, and helpful. The sushi was awesome. I want to go here for the hibachi experience... I'm sure its amazing. Go check them out.

Just ordered from here on Mother's Day, did not disappoint. The sushi was fantastic (even better than expected), and they had a very well organized process to handle the influx of takeout orders given the current pandemic climate. We'll be back!

Our waitress was rude, we did not feel welcome, and felt as if they were trying to rush us out of the restaurant. The food was alright nothing to brag about not worth the price on the menu . I would not recommend this place to anyone due to the lack of customer service.

I visited for my birthday for sushi and it was worth it! Great selection at decent prices I just wish they had the fatty tuna for me to try. I highly recommend the octopus as it was super fresh and delicious with their house drink (the sakura)

The service was great! The prices very fair.The food was delicious! I took a girlfriend of mine and her boyfriend for her birthday! She had never been. We will definitely go again! Very happy!

Miso soup was good... Salad dressing was fair..more mustardy than like a ginger dressing..sushi and hibachi chicken was delicious! Was so excited to eat the hibachi chicken I forgot the picture... Tiffany was our server and was nice and attentive.

First time I have ever ate there today so don't know why it says I have reviewed it, but it's absolutely delicious and definitely will be going again soon. My dad goes regularly and says service is always fast and friendly. Portion sizes are awesome and food is flavorful and presented wonderfully. Definitely 5 stars.

This place has great sushi!

UPDATE: waiter was awful, our chef was not good. Skimmped huge on serving sizes. Not worth going back for a third try for the cost! Would be better off ordering cheaper Chinese carry out.I enjoyed it for my first time to hibachi. Good service, friendly, attentive! Busy atmosphere but enjoyable. Food was Good! Chef was attentive and great at making sure he cooked and served what you liked. I would go back!

I love this place very clean, kind, and Courteous. Food is AMAZING! Habachi is so good they really do a great show very talented chefs. Their sushi I’ve been eating for years never had bad sushi and I always mix it up. I give it a 9 of 10 only because they need a bigger space, they can get pretty busy.

My first time eating at Hana Sushi was last night. I was not disappointed! The food was excellent and watching it being prepared in front of me was great entertainment. I've always wanted to stop in but was afraid I would not like it. I am sorry I waited so long. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back again very soon.

Two of my good friends took me to this fine establishment. The setting was welcoming and the staff were friendly and a pleasure to be around. The chef (Allen) was fantastic and fun to watch and interact with. The food was fantastic and the portions huge. It was one of my best dining experiences in recent memory.I will recommend this to all I know. Keep up the good work.

I don’t care for many types of sushi , but what I have had here I have liked. But the HABACHI grill is king here. I love the food. Fresh tasty veggies and delicious meats. We have had many many delicious family dinners and celebrations here.

Had just moved to Hayes and was no expecting anything special but mind was totally blown. Absolutely 👍💯 delicious. Have been back several times and never disappointed.. actually getting takeout this weekend for my birthday and excited.

The cooks put on a great show; we love taking people who have never been. 🍴My husband & I especially love the dinner for two which comes with a soup & salad. We walk over to the movie theatre after to finish up our date. 😍l

My wife and I have been coming here for 8 years. It's awesome. They don't have the fanciest hibachi chefs but the food is great. The sushi is awesome

Food was mediocre at best steak was chewy and not enough to vegtables and it was cold because the chef took so long. Waitstaff was the worst part she ignored us and focused on the other family. The chef was unpleasant refusing to speak to us and we had to sit cramped up next to another family and they were loud, annoying and also unpleasant if I could rate the family I’d give them 0 stars the son was rude to his mom and stole his grandmas yum yum sauce the man cursed in front of children and the girl laughed to loud and the girl was laughing too loud for us to enjoy our dining experience The waitstaff refuses to refill our drinks yet refilled the other family’s a lot the waitress wouldn’t even give us our bill and instead continued refilling others drinks while we went thirsty not like our usual experience they need to step up their game before we return

We love to come here to celebrate and relax.

My 63rd Birthday! Sushi was excellent! The Hanna cook was excellent and entertaining, All the food was excellent. The service was excellent! The Sacki was cold and the brand I love. The staff sang Happy birthday to me. And they gave me a sculpture made from Oranges. One of the best birthday celebrations I have ever had. I can not say enough good things about this Restaurant. And I am very hard to please. Thank you for an experience I will remember forever!

Great cook! He said hes been there for a very long time. Very sweet to everybody. We were stuffed and brought leftovers home.

The place might not look as nice as Kabuto in Richmond but the food is definitely better and about the same price. It tastes sooooo GOOD. If I had to choose between the two, I would choose Hanna Sushi all day. The staff is really nice also. When I go I order hibachi chicken and shrimp with extra yumyum sauce(their steak is good too but I don't eat red meat anymore), it comes with a soup and salad, and I also get a crazy texas (sushi) with spicy mayo. It totals up around 30 something dollars. You will be full and satisfied.

My wife and I were there for our 21st wedding anniversary. The food wasn't bad, although I think 20 minutes is a bit long to wait for the cook to start preparing our supper.What I didn't need, though, was that same 20-something cook telling my wife that she was being insensitive when she mentioned the volcano in Hawai'i, when it was on the news on the T.V. right behind him.And I would suggest that someone clean the fronts of the grills and underneath, because that was pretty disgusting.

My sushi and sashimi was room temp and tasteless. Tastes like they thawed and the water was squeezed out. My waitress was cold and distant. She just came took our order and plopped things on the table.
